Typical Mechanical Service Visit Schedule

  • Electrically isolate unit (by others)
  • Remove and clean pan strainer
  • Check water level (reset if necessary)
  • Check for free fan rotation
  • Lubrication of fan shaft bearings
  • Check locking collars
  • Check fan belt tension (adjust if necessary)
  • Check condition of heat transfer surface
  • Inspect spray nozzles, remove and clear (if necessary)
  • Check eliminator location and condition
  • Restore electrical supply (by others)
  • Check fans for correct rotational direction
  • Check unit for any unusual noise or vibration
  • Inspect general condition of unit
  • Complete service report
